Lots of active fun has been enjoyed by the boys and girls since we returned after our Easter break. Coupled with History art, STEM construction and preparations for our First Holy Communion ceremony, it is safe to say it has been a very busy time. We hope you enjoy a little photo display of some of the activities we have been enjoying these past few weeks.
After learning all about the legend of Setanta and how he got the name CĂșchulainn, the boys and girls designed shields for him to wear in battle.
The children used spaghetti and marshmallows to build weight bearing structures. They had great fun trying to construct the tallest tower while at the same time developing their problem solving skills as they worked together.
'Golden Time' saw everyone battle it out in a fun game of uni-hoc. There was some fantastic skill on display as they all worked together in their teams.
Fr. Donagh led us all in a beautiful ceremony where our four second class boys received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. We were so proud of our boys on their very special day.
The highlight of this term was our school tour to the Ennis Gymnastics Centre. We enjoyed three fun-filled hours of stretching, running, swinging, bouncing and diving followed by a yummy tub of ice cream on the way home. A perfect end to a great day!
