What a busy few weeks it has been in our lead-up to Christmas. The end of November saw the pupils from the 'Sycamore' room, together with those from the 'Oak' room perform a variety of popular ballads and songs for our 'Seisiún'. Led by Chairperson of the BOM Patrick O Dwyer, the boys and girls sang songs both in groups and individually, they played music and they danced a set. We are so lucky to have such talent we in our school!!
For Christmas art we decorated Christmas stockings to hang over the fire, painted Christmas window scenes and used our pattern making skills to create Funky Reindeer. We also had great fun pretending to jump out of a Christmas present.
On December 11th, travelled to 'The Lime Tree Theatre' in Limerick to see the panto 'Red Riding Hood'. We really enjoyed it and loved singing along to all the songs.
'Festive Fun Day' was just that - lots of fun!! We had a visit from Santa, exchanged our Kris Kindle cards and enjoyed yummy hot chocolate with marshmallows and popcorn while we watched a Christmas movie.
